Audi S4 for the Family wagon, why not!

For many a chassis bracing is something that does not cross your mind, but for Eddie with his family driven Audi S4 it was a must.

Many of us have Dad or Mom mobiles that are just not fun to drive kids around, but you add a few bracing to your car and the experience of that vehicle makes a different drive.

First we started in the rear of Eddie's S4 by adding a rear subframe brace.

The rear brace help firm the subframe which hold the entire suspension of the vehicle. The subframe in any vehicle has a slight movement to help reduce the feel of the roads. By tying the rear subframe we can firm up the suspension a bit which then help the driver feel more planted to the road.

Make that experience better when you have a few adults in the back seat, and safer.

Next we added a few additional braces to the mid of the vehicle.

The rear mid brace is an added support to the center of the vehicle. We tie the center areas to the chassis of the S4. This is giving you a center support when weight transfers when turning.

The brace is low profile to clear those bumps at the Mall.

Next up is a brace that, in my opinion helps the transmission.

Yes it is simple but affective. The brace ties the areas where the transmission cradle sits on. By tying the two points, the flex of the vehicles body has been eliminated, which may help with transmission torque.

And the last brace looks great. We call this a 4 point strut brace.

The difference in our design to other is that we designed it as a one piece giving you a much more ridged structure. We took what Audi had designed in their OE design of taking the points from the strut tower to the firewall. Well, that is all good, but what about side to side?

Many of our designs require no modification to your vehicle. We use existing mounting points within the vehicle.

All our products are track tested.

It has been a while since we have seen a Toyota super car, 1998 for us in the USA. But with the new joint venture with BMW using the Z4 G29 platform on the new GR Supra, this opened many doors.

For our team, we had already R&D the bracing for the G29 BMW Z4 back in 2019 and with the launch of the GR Supra in 2020 it took us a bit of time to test fit the bracing. At the end of 2021, we had the opportunity to test the Z4 bracing on the GR Supra. We reached out to a few people within our area and your TikToker came through.

What makes our bracing a bit different then any other brace on the market is our 1 piece design front core. We also designed a true strut brace that connects the strut towers together. This 6 point design helps tie the front core to the towers and back across the engine bay. Steering response from hitting the corners is noticeable.

Check our the product installations.

Tested on both the 2.0 Turbo and 3.6 Turbo engines.

This is our mid to rear transfer case brace.
TESLA MODEL 3 Chassis Bracing

As time moves into new technologies, electric vehicles come to mind. After 2 years of developing and testing areas that may need improvement or better yet help stabilize the subframe. Tesla Model 3 is already a great car and not much improvement is needed.

We developed 4 units, front and rear anti-sway braces in the same sizes as the OE version, but in solid steel for more tension and better performance and a front and rear subframe brace.

This Tesla Model 3 is already heavy modified. The owner is a track junky and loves pushing his Tesla Model 3 to its limits.

We chose this person, because we needed to push our bracing to its limits. Unfortunately the front 4 point subframe brace did not work with this vehicle. If you have Solid Front Lower Control Arm Bearings by Mountain Pass Performance our brace will not work without modifying the control arm bolts. Something we are still working on.

Our front subframe did not work because the owner of the Tesla had the MPP lower control arm spherical bushings. If you install our bracing with the MPP busing, you will find that the bolt is not long enough.

The MPP busing pin is pretty big compared to the stock Tesla Model 3 pin. We have tried to source this special bolt, trying to match the thread pitch and strength along with an extra 15MM to the size of the bolt to help clear an MPP control arm bushing and our 4 point chassis bracing.

The point of our 4 point bracing is to help the vehicle with better front end torque stability and firm steering. More then what the electronic steering has to offer.

Moving on to the rear of the subframe, we recommend that you hold the subframe in the same position it is at. You will be removing two major subframe bolts that pretty much hold the entire subframe.

This 3 point unit just give the rear subframe extra strength to the vehicles stability. We are connecting the subframe bolts to the center of the subframe giving the frame an A shape, same style you will see in performance vehicles such as Ferrari F430 subframes.

As we grow, we hope to develop more for this vehicle. The Tesla Model 3 is our main focus, because of its popularity and reliability.

Any questions you may have, please contact us

The more modern the vehicle get, the more nuts and bolts and plastic trims get complicated..

Our test subject was a 2021 Toyota Corolla E210 Hatchback. We did experience the intense removal and installation of the front strut brace which require to remove many components. From the removal of the plastic trim cowl to the windshield whipper motors to the rain guard shield.

Our brace will be installed below the rain guard shield. Our estimated time is somewhere around 1 hour to 1.5 hours

We have gather these detail instruction from ALLDATA Repair Manual. We are also including torque specs for mounting bolts.
