Test Fitment Done! on 2019 Toyota Camry XV70

Success! We tried to get a local Toyota dealership to help us test fit our XV70 Toyota Camry bracing, but there was just to much RED TAPE.

Lucky for us, after posting a cry for help on Instagram we got a PM.

Before we start any test fitment we go like to go out for a drive and get a feel for the vehicle in its natural state.

Usually we start with the front strut brace, but this time we started under the chassis. 

Underbody panels require trimming. 

We recommend that the subframe bolts be torqued at 120 lbs tq. and the steering subframe bolts at 60 lbs tq. +. Please call your local dealership. 

Middle OE replacement bracing is easy to install, and all panels can be reinstalled.

These braces help in many ways. The rear trailing arms are already doing work, but there is no stability in the trailing arms due to soft bushings. Our trailing braces tie the mid subframe to the body for a more rigid feel.

Following the trailing arm bracing, installation of the V shaped tie brace. The mounting points looks to be the vehicles Camber arms mounting points. 

Last brace of the pack was the Rear Subframe Tie. This brace, not to get it confused with the previous model. Tie the entire rear subframe mounting points. We have seen stock subframe have a slight movement. This brace keeps it all in place for a solid frame.

The rear underbody panels will require a slight notch.The rear tie closest to the gas tank.

Last brace of them all, our front strut. This brace had no issues and was a direct bolt on.
